House hunting

donnalotusSo there's a house in Tecoma we've been really keen on. We're taking a second look at it tonight with the view to put in an offer if we're still as keen on it tonight as we were when we first saw it. Things got complicated this morning when our Nicki called to say there's been another offer put in on the house. So suddenly, we have until tonight (the vendor is waiting until the 2nd viewing for us to put in an offer too) to make up our minds and put in the offer.
The issue with this becomes that we now have to anticipate and guess at what the other people have offered, and hope to better it in the first offer we put, it's a little stressful in that regard, we were hoping to put in a low bid and work our way up if possible, but might not be able to do that now. We also have to put in a conditional offer based on the sale of Ann's house - though Nicki said she didn't think that would worry the vendor.
So it's moving very quickly... waaaay quickly! This time tomorrow we may be in negotiations for a house!
